Milwaukee Brewers pitcher CC Sabathia is an Oakland Raiders fan, but that didn't stop him or several of his teammates from attending the Green Bay Packers-Dallas Cowboys game at Lambeau Field Sunday night.
Sabathia was joined on the sidelines by infielders Prince Fielder, Bill Hall and Rickie Weeks, outfielders Gabe Kapler and Tony Gwynn Jr., catcher Mike Rivera and pitcher Ben Sheets.
It made for a long day, considering the Brewers played an afternoon game in Cincinnati earlier Sunday.
Brewers public relations director John Steinmiller was aware some of the players were in attendance, but wasn't sure what time the Brewers landed in Milwaukee or when the players arrived in Green Bay.
They came out to the field approximately 30 minutes before kickoff. They stood on the Packers' sideline throughout the game and watched from the bench at halftime while former Packers players were being introduced for alumni weekend.
Sabathia posed for pictures and signed a few autographs before the game, while Fielder signed autographs before the start of the second half.
The Brewers, however, weren't even the biggest stars in attendance.
That honor belonged to music icon Jay-Z, who took in the game from the Dallas sideline. There was no sign of his wife, Beyonce, however.
